Erica Slobodnik is a Principal at Duquesne City School District outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a second grade teacher for five years in the school district. She has been on numerous committees and teams as a teacher like the Instructional Leadership Team, Just Discipline Project, PBIS Team, Pilot Teacher for World of Work, Cooperating Teacher for student teachers, Mentor Teacher for new teachers, and been part of the Parents of Allies Team. She presented at the TRETC (Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference) conference in January 2023 at South Fayette School District. She received a Masters in Education and Certificate in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On a personal note, she is about to celebrate her twenty year anniversary next month with her wonderful husband (Mike) and has three amazing children. (Victoria 26, Hunter 18, Apollo 17).
