Heeju Jung was an intern at New America's Cybersecurity Initiative, where she supported research on cyber governance policy in South Korea.. She holds a BA in Politics and German Culture from Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea. Prior to join New America, she researched political participation and interaction between local candidates and constituents during election seasons in South Korea. Her interest areas are in governance and civic engagement.
