Matthew Lorenzo Uribe was a consultant with New America Chicago supporting Chicago-based research to improve homeownership among low to moderate income households as a wealth-building strategy. A graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, Uribe also supported other research projects such as the alternatives to predatory lending work before going on to join the team at the Chicago Housing Authority.
