Melody Crowder-Meyer is an assistant professor of political science at Davidson College. She holds a PhD in political science from Princeton University. Her work examines the causes and consequences of gender and racial inequality in American politics. Her specific research projects include investigations of how voters, potential candidates, and political elites such as party leaders and campaign donors both influence and are affected by political inequality. She has published articles in the Journal of Politics, Political Behavior, Politics & Gender, the British Journal of Political Science, and Urban Affairs Review, among others.
