Vontisha Fludd

Program Manager, New Practice Lab & Family Economic Security Cluster

Vontisha Fludd is an operational leader serving as the Program Manager of the New Practice Lab and Family Economic Security Cluster. She’s dedicated to ensuring team efficiency and alignment with programmatic objectives.

Fludd previously was the Financial Analyst Account and Operations Manager, leading the New Practice Lab’s impact across initiatives. She focused on directing funding and performance and played a pivotal role in building the New Practice Lab program at New America. From its inception, she worked to establish infrastructure and resources and collaborated with leadership to build the team’s capacity. She also worked with the former president and chief operating officer and the former vice president of public interest technology and local initiatives, managing the day-to-day coordination of the programs.

Prior to joining New America, Fludd worked as a campaign manager at an independent streaming network and growth agency, working with creatives across music, fashion, e-sports, and lifestyle brands. She also held a manager position at a Fortune 500 company providing wireless solutions to small and medium businesses. While there, she mentored new hires and directed off-site grassroots projects to acquire new business.

Fludd is a proud alumna of Howard University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and African American studies. She volunteers with Operation Hope and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
