Suzanne Spaulding, undersecretary for DHS’ national protection and programs directorate, told a conference the center must work to consolidate the IC’s knowledge about malware and information on state and non-state actors that use the malware, according to the report. “I’m looking forward to the day when we can sit down with not just the cyber experts in the intelligence community, but also with the regional experts who can tell us why a given actor is doing what they’re doing,” Spaulding said during the New America Foundation’s conference in Washington.
