Austin Adams was communications manager for the Open Technology Institute, where he led OTI's communications strategy, editorial planning, and media relations. He joined OTI as a communications associate in 2019.
Prior to New America, Adams worked as a researcher for Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mt.) and completed a fellowship at D.C. digital communications firm Bully Pulpit Interactive, where he supported national issue campaigns on immigration and environmental policy. Originally from Massachusetts, Adams worked as a local newspaper reporter before earning a B.A. in political science from American University.
