As New America’s director of production, John Williams worked to provide multimedia support for live events, webcasts, podcasts, as well as radio and television communications. He also post-produced audio and video content for New America. His goal is to constantly improve and enhance New America’s multimedia identity.
John has over 20 years of experience in multi-track audio recording, editing, and mastering with a focus on voice recording. He has been involved in multimedia broadcast for the past 10 years. In 2011 Mr. Williams was appointed an Open Source Fellow at Public.Resource.Org and he teaches audio excellence and new media best practices at conferences around the region.
He attended Antioch University in Yellow Springs, Ohio and The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio.
